"Considering how there is a voting section on the Request for Adminship and now the talk page on the homepage, why not make one devoted to suggesting new rules for the site? Since the problem with the way BOD implemented rules was how surprising they are by not warning or suggesting it to others, this one will play in the opposite direction. If one rule gains a lot of support or opposition, then people will know these rules will be implemented soon, not to mention it could be used to answer some of the grievances on the wiki." Originally from my comment on the Discord server but I'm bringing it over here for a broader discussion. Any thoughts on this proposal? Will it be useful or not necessary? |
