Replying to Forum:Problems with the AVID Wiki

There seems to be a problem with the AVID Wiki. It sometimes doesn't come in and it also loads very slow. I just wish that the AVID Wiki should load faster and better. What could be the cause of the problems?

The problem is we’re bringing in too much traffic. The number of daily visitors we get dwarfs the rest of WikiTide/WikiForge to the point that it’s actively hampering performance both for us and for them. I believe something’s being worked on behind the scenes on the technical side to help the situation, so just hang tight and hopefully we’ll be in a more useable state sooner than later

It's really strange that the AVID wiki has been broken for some unknown reasons, but it'll be faster soon.

Hi, y'all! We can try using [https://avid.wikiforge.net avid.wikiforge.net] in the meantime, as browsing the wiki via this URL doesn't seem to have as many issues with slowness. Hope this'll help!

504: Gateway time-out? I think that might be the reason why the AVID Wiki still might have problems. But Hb1290 and TheRealMarcel2000 both actually said it will load faster and better than before.

New servers have been put online and dedicated to AVID, so we should start looking better from here out. But there may be intermittent slowness/outage as things cache.

The search box hasn't been working correctly so far, hope anyone can fix it.

The pictures are not working also, which were seen in some pages such as categories and main page.

I'd like to report a site-wide problem (that has been happening for a while) AVID's own font, "AVID Sans", '''isn't being displayed''' (on Firefox at least), being replaced with the default font which is '''Times New Roman.''' I'm on Chrome and I'm seeing Times New Roman too. I didn't think it was an error, just a change. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I hope the content of this Wiki gets backed up/saved by someone(s) regularly because I couldn't get here for over 4 days and got worried all that's been added since we left the old wiki would be lost.

When I clicked every picture in this wiki, it seems that the file is not be displayed.
