I have no idea if this is supposed to be a special one-time thing or not, but Lionsgate included an updated version of the 1986 Vestron Video logo on their new 4K UHD release of Dirty Dancing.

I think I know the reason. The Vestron Pictures logo was "restored" at the beginning of DD, and by "restored" I mean the logo was recreated in 4K.

Here's a quote from some guy who worked on the UHD release:

["We didn't have an original Dirty Dancing element available to us at the time of the disc's creation with the Vestron logo as the Lionsgate logo had already been added, so we had it recreated in 4k to be added to the head in place of the plastered Lionsgate one. It was important that we do all we could to bring this back to what would be the best, closest version to the theatrical. That also extended to making sure we included the stereo mix as well as the producer's preferred 5.1 re-mix and the new Atmos mix." - "Cliff," Blu-Ray.com]

So what I'm guessing is the people in charge of the 4K release recreated the Vestron Pictures logo and then said, "Hey, let's do a Vestron Video logo, too!" An educated guess on my part. Can't blame them; if I were in charge I would have done the same thing.
