I've tried adding this GIF as my signature: . But when I added it to my preferences, it just shows the whole link thing and not the actual GIF. Can someone help? Look at my archived user report for what I mean (Archive 17).

Did you enable "Treat signature as wikitext (without an automatic link to your user page)" in your preferences section? If not, I recommend doing so.
