What's the fastest way to get to 1000 edits to fulfil my goal of becoming an admin? Currently, according to Special:CentralAuth, I have 271 edits (this thread will be 272). So what will be the fastest way? |

You cannot speedrun becoming an admin, it is more than just the numbers. You need to also prove that you are capable of helping run a massive site, such as by reporting users and making major contributions. DanteWilliams tried speedrunnung becoming an Admin by arguing every chance he got, and that led to him being blocked for 4 years. My advice is to actually prove yourself rather than try and bypass the system. |

just reach 1000 edits as a normal person, bro. |

You know how RSX frequently uploads a bunch of images at once then adds them onto a certain page? That's probably the most efficient strategy. In short, frequently contributing to the site by adding more content is the best way to reach your 1K edit goal for admin. |

I think a good way is to find a page with TBA in its descriptions and try to edit them. I joined about a week ago and I have already edited about 30 pages. Scratch that, I have over 100 now. |

The only reason why I have over 1000 edits now is because I spent my time editing and responding to other user, be it on my talk page on the user reports. Also I reached that threshold largely because I took out the "don't expect" sentences which broke a rule. In short, 1000 edits doesn't come to you like magic. You must spend a lot more time to reach that achievement. |

Effort and patience. That's the fastest way. |
