Replying to Forum:DanteWilliams is gone.

I can't believe it but I have to. DanteWilliams has been banned from the AVID Wiki for "stirring drama". I tried asking EternityMediaGroup politely, but he said he has had too many chances, and he's had enough. And they've said he will be banned till he's 18, but he said he would've forgotten about the wiki by then, and he would probably have a job by then. And Dante, if you're reading this, I'd like to thank you for everything you've done. Whether it's good or bad, we can still thank you for contributing to this wiki over the course of one year. Thanks for being my friend. I'll miss you.

What the heck? I only spoke to him a couple of days ago! What even happened?

Months and months of drama. He'd become heavily aggressive towards other members several times. We in the Discord server agreed enough was enough.

I remember when, during the last days of CLG wiki, he got banned for a few months (that he was able to shorten to a few weeks after much discussion) ''because'' of how hostile he was. * Once Jacknorrisbelike was banned, he attempted to make socks to stay on the wiki. Dante/Charlie attempted to ''defend'' the socks from being banned, but we quickly caught on to him. * He would constantly butt into any and all user reports he didn't take part of to begin with-- as stated by Eternity, this was solely because he wanted to boost the edit count so he could potentially be an administrator. He kept on adding off-topic discussions (such as one Jackson report where he pointed out the obvious-- "Our first Jackson sock 'o the year"). This reached a head, when, in my report of two users who made a joke RFC about changing the wiki into the Muppet Wiki (based on a joke Logohub made in the Discord server), Charlie butted in with "Jeff the Tree Frog...Muppet Wiki.... Hmm." which basically devolved into an off-topic argument on Jeff. All of the above is what led to Charlie's ban. We gave him MULTIPLE chances to reform his behavior, but he never did. Thinking about it now, he should've gotten an indefinite ban.

I came up with that idea to see if he could mature by the age of 18 - and in fact, gave him some tips and pointers to work on Monday. I know ''so'' many people on this site think he's unworkable, but I don't see him as that way - if you put enough effort into that, you might just leave a good impression that can be worked on. Trust me, we ''all'' have had our moments of immaturity - but we can't project those sins of those moments onto other people. And also, I think being "banned until 18" gives a ''stronger'' impact than being banned indefinitely.

As of Wednesday of last week, Dante is in a better place now. Hopefully, he has been taken care of for the next few years.
