Umm, has anybody noticed that AVID sometimes loads slow?

Thoughts?

Also, has AVID moved to WikiForge yet? I can't wait.

Yeah, even the pictures, some pages and the Images/Videos section are slow also, unlike the Miraheze version.

I've been dealing with this too.

Not only that, but I've also been dealing with 503s. And (off-topic) some pages have "disappeared" from categories (same goes with some actual categories, actually.)

Don't blame me, I think some images contain malicious codes and are disappeared!

I meant that pages still had categories, but the categories' pages don't list the missing pages. I got 'round this by erasing, then re-adding the categories one after another.

The main reason why certain pages, files, and categories are not showing up but are still on the wiki is because they're not indexed, but if you edit them, they get indexed back onto the wiki.

I don't know exactly why this happens, though, nor do I know why the wiki runs slow at times, but it has at least something to do with the influx of new users/communities and multiple replacetexts going on at the same time.

Many recent issues were indeed caused by overlapping ReplaceText actions, on top of that there was a rebuilding of all thumbnails and multiple storage/resource expansions while AVID was migrating. Growing pains basically. Perfect service from day one is not to be expected. If the average over time turns out less reliable than Miraheze then we'll work out what needs to happen to make it so. Please bear with us for now but do report any new issues that arise.
