Forum:"Surprising appears" being removed, but why?

Recently I saw that Camenati (the wiki bureaucrat) has removed the "Surprising appears" on all pages, but why? Because there was no RfC talking about this. Did I happen to miss something? If this was because of someone saying this to remove on discord, the answer is I can't know (because i am banned there). |

It was a subjective phrase that is POV. Not everyone would agree that if a logo appeared on a piece of media well after it was retired would be surprising. Some might expect it to be there because the piece of media was produced before the company debuted a new logo. It is also not clear sometimes why a logo's appearance on that media is surprising. For instance, this page used to carry that phrase, but again, it's not clear what makes the latter film carrying their (currently only) logo surprising. |
