These are the logo variations seen on trailer throughout the years by DreamWorks Animation, with more to be added overtime.

Monsters vs. Aliens (2009):

  • On the 1st trailer, the logo becomes black and white, this makes the moon and clouds look 2D. It then slightly bends on the bottom right like a piece of paper as it falls to the bottom left. Also, the word "ANIMATION" is removed like the Flushed Away variant.
  • On the 2nd trailer, the logo is made on a steel door. The door opens up, continuing the trailer. Also, like the first trailer, "ANIMATION" is removed.
  • On the 3rd trailer, the 2010 logo is used, snow flies from the right side, starting the trailer. This also can be seen in 3D. Also, "ANIMATION" is removed like the first and second trailers.
  • On a TV Spot, the 2004 logo is used, B.O.B. appears on the left, Dr, Cockroach at the bottom and The Missing Link on the right side as they say "Yoo-Hoo!" and the spot continues.
  • Another TV spot also uses the Flushed Away variant of the 2004 logo in scope, however, the left and right sides are stretched, this is most likely because the normal fullscreen was used. Sometimes, the logo zooms in.

Megamind (2010):
  • On the teaser trailer, we only see the words "DREAMWORKS ANIMATION SKG" zooming out in space.
  • Another trailer shows the sequence while the logo is still seen.

Puss in Boots (2011):
  • The clouds are tinted in blue, and there are fireworks exploding around the logo.
  • On a TV spot, the logo is formed and a "P" is scratched onto the logo Zorro-style.

Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted (2012):
  • On the trailer and TV spots, an open matte version is used.

Rise of the Guardians (2012):
  • On the first trailer, the logo is tinted ice blue and the camera pans down through the clouds.
  • On the second trailer, the logo is tinted ice blue again and it freezes.
  • On a TV spot, the logo is once again tinted ice blue and the camera zooms out from the center of the screen.

The Bad Guys (2022):
  • On the 3rd trailer, it's the same as the film itself, starting when Mr. Wolf relaxes on the moon.
