Logo: On a white background, we see a close up of the 3D curve cutting to reveal the circle then another to reveal the famous CBS eye logo. Then we see "CBS" in 3D shade then it slides to another shot where the word "NEWS" appears one by one to reveal the famous "CBS NEWS" with the CBS eye on the left. We could see the curve far to the right.

Variant: A morning variant of the logo exists where on an orange background, we see the left and top portions of the CBS Sunday Morning sun logo before the logo animates as normal. This was seen on CBS Mornings.

FX/SFX: CGI animation by Gretel.

Music/Sounds: A violin theme, followed by a dramatic arrangement of the CBS 5-note jingle with the stopwatch ticking sound from 60 Minutes. Composed by Antfood.
