Dino Video

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

Logo (Early-mid 1990s)

Visuals: On a white background, there is a smiling green sauropod with white spots on his back, a white underbelly and a patch of hair holding his neck down on top of the big, red name "DINO". Below that is the black, small word "VIDEO", which is sandwiched in between two horizontal lines. The sauropod then begins to talk, occasionally flicking his tail before slightly turning his head to wink at the camera.

Variants: There is an ending variant where the sauropod is slightly reanimated to sync up with his dialogue in this variant.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: The sauropod announcing "The following program is brought to you by Dino Video!" in a masculine voice. "Dino" is pronounced as "DEE-no".

Audio Variants: For the closing variant, the sauropod instead says "This program was brought to you by Dino Video!"

Availability: Seen on at least one VHS tape, which is The Four Kinsmen Live in Concert.
