Background: Another offshoot of Wizard Video started by Charles Band in the early 1980s, intended to release more "harder" and sleazier B-movie fare than the usual Wizard Video (and even Force Video) output. The original incarnation closed in 1987 along with Wizard itself, but was later revived in the mid-1990s by Band for releasing his 70s produced films and other cult titles, most of which had previously been released through Urban Classics.
