1st Logo (2002-2008)
Logo: On the left side against a black background, four white letters "five" with the "i" missing its dot fade in and slide to the right. 2nd Logo (2008-2011)
Logo: Now positioned on the right side, a white circle containing the black words "FIVE" fades in with a turquoise, magenta, and purple spiral spinning around, changing colors while it shrinks and fades into an outline consisting of the same colors.
FX/SFX: The spiral spinning and changing colors.
Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the show.
Availability: Rare, appears on season 3 of Fifi and the Flowertots and on a 2015 Milkshake airing of The Adventures of Bottle Top Bill and His Best Friend Corky.
3rd Logo (2011-2015)
Logo: A thick, dark red ring is seen spinning. Another rotating ring pops out of the inner section of the outer ring while a white "5" within a dark red circle pops up. The two rings briefly spin around the circle before disappearing to allow thinner, white rings to emerge and rotate, which would expand and fade out. As usual, the co-producer's logo appears on the right side.
Variant: A version exists consisting of only the Channel 5 logo and its copyright notice on the right.
FX/SFX: The rings spinning and fading out and the circle popping in.
Music/Sounds: None or the ending theme of the show.
Availability: Can be seen on Brand New House on a Budget. The variant consisting of just the Channel 5 logo was seen on early seasons of Caught on Camera, preserved on VOD prints.
4th Logo (2015-2016)
Logo: The same "5" in a circle is shown on a red background on the left section, only for it to be white. Throughout the logo, an outline of a ring made visible by its shadow is seen expanding.
Variant: The full on-screen variant has the red background take up the whole screen with a copyright notice also shown.
FX/SFX: The ring expanding.
Music/Sounds: None or the ending theme of the show.
Availability: Very rare, due to its short lifespan. Appears on Witches: A Century of Murder and Secrets of Great British Castles.
5th Logo (2016-2020)
Logo:A slanted mask outline with a curved corner on the top section slides from the left, revealing the bottom-right piece of the Channel 5 logo as well as another piece faintly visible in the background. The pieces zoom out and merge together, forming the number "5" comprised of five parts.
Variants:
- The color schemes for this logo may vary on the show, which consists of:
- Light blue and dark purple.
- Magenta and dark blue.
- Orange and maroon.
- Green yellow and dark turquoise.
- Sometimes, the right half of the screen is white.
FX/SFX: The mask expanding and the pieces forming together.
Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the show.
Availability: Uncommon.
- The magenta-dark blue variant is the most common one out of all the color schemes and was seen on House Doctor, Elephant Hospital, Pompeii: After the Eruption, Police Interceptors, among others.
- The other schemes are seen on a few programs. *The light blue-dark purple color scheme variant was seen on How the Victorians Built Britain, the green yellow-dark turquoise variant was seen on The Butcher Surgeon: Why Wasn't He Stopped, and the orange-maroon scheme can be seen on Up Late with Rylan.
- Programs that have the right half of the logo in white include Digby Dragon and My Not So Sweet Sixteen.
6th Logo (2020-)
Logo: With a slanted mask outline separating it and the co-producer's section, the parts within the Channel 5 logo light up in no particular order before they all glow at once after a few seconds.
Variants:
- Sometimes, the logo is darker.
- On Anne Boleyn, the logo is in black and white.
FX/SFX: The parts lighting up.
Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the show.
Availability: Current, seen on The Dambusters, The Drowning, Anne Boleyn, among others.
