User Reports

Make sure to read the Site Rules before making a report.

Shortcut: AVID:UR

This is the page for reporting active users violating AVID Site Rules. If you suspect someone is a sockpuppet, please make a request too on AVID:Requests for CheckUser to report them and get them locked by a Steward.

How to use this page: Click "Create New Report below", fill out the fields in the report and submit your report. Then, wait for an administrator to respond to your report. They will say what action they have taken (if any) below your report. If you have any information to add an existing report, please feel free to add a reply below it, even if you aren't an administrator.

Finally, please ensure you inform a user that they have been reported by placing {{UserReported|reason for reporting}} on their talk page under a new section.

Etiquette: Please remain civil while using this page. Per site rules, please refrain from personal attacks when discussing other users and assume good faith.

Sensitive reports: If you believe a user is underage, have encountered leaked personal information (ie doxxing), or otherwise have a sensitive report that should not be posted in public, please make a private report to the Bureaucrats using the contact form or leave a private message to one of them on Discord or here. If what you are reporting is sensitive, please use discretion!

I'm gonna ask for more than a reminder, because while otherwise an innocent list of predictions of what logos will appear on upcoming movies, the linked document starts out with an extremely offensive statement about AVID editors that refers to us as the N-word when I'm not entirely sure this person has the privilege to do so (said insult also hints at an angry sock). If you check the history for the document, it is actually vandalism, so either the user is not responsible for that or not, depending on what his response to the warning is. Anyways, this user will be accordingly

User has a history of vandalism, harassment and sockpuppetry on various Fandom wikis. As such, his anger may be due to the fact that his various sockpuppet accounts have been blocked across the Fandom network. Please do something about this user. Buzzfan120 (talk) 06:44, 20 October 2023 (UTC)

That's not how it works. Once a nomination (or a series of nominations) is/are closed in chronological order, it/they should be sent to the archives regardless. Archiving should not concern the whole page itself. It's more like a step-by-step or gradual sequence. That's how the closing/archiving procedure worked for over a year now. I hope this helps.
