Wiki history article

Should we create a Wikipedia-style article about the wiki and its history?

It can be at AVID:Audiovisual Identity Database or Audiovisual Identity Database

Support

  1. Support I guess so. I'd imagine it would go on the former page, as the latter page would probably be any on-screen logos that it would use. Gilby1385 (talk) 11:39, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
  2. Support, as I could see it serving as a companion piece to the documentary we're producing. Eternity Media Group (talk) 11:54, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
  3. Support not a bad idea honestly Charlie179 (talk) 12:07, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
  4. Support Joining this wiki can be nothing short of confusing, and many can be reluctant to properly elaborate on certain figures and events. A hub for information regarding AVID's history would go a long way to making it look less foggy. Chloafifteen (talk) 13:15, 4 September 2023 (UTC)

Abstain

Oppose

  1. Oppose No, because there is a page that was created when the wiki completed 15 years that talks a little about the history of the wiki, any response to my opposition? TPatKB (AKA Mr Vadimon) (this is my talk page) 20:36, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
That article was an archive and it summarizes the events that occurred throughout the wiki's lifespan. What I believe this article will deliver is one that is up to date (in this case, cover recent changes such as the removal of the tiers and Nicknames section) and cover events such as 9/9 in more detail.
