Image licence bot
Should we make a bot to add licences to existing images that were uploaded before licences were introduced?

Oppose per EMG. A bot can't look at an image and go something like "hey, this is a TV logo!" Adding licenses is a human task. Dominicmgm (talk) 14:09, 11 April 2023 (UTC)- Oppose per both. Sounds like a great idea in concept, but the main questions are: How will this be actually implemented, and how will it know if the capture is from a film, television show, and possibly fake?

Comment: I'm pretty sure a bot wouldn’t be capable of this, as to a bot, the images would just be images. It wouldn’t know which license to put on an image, as it wouldn’t be able to tell what kind of logo it is.
