Using the Correct Fonts for logo text

Over on the Discord server, Doctorine Dark proposed we start implementing different fonts on the wiki, using the correct ones for text that appears in a logo. For expample, Minion Black being used across the DreamWorks pages, or, in the image accompanying this, Gotham.

  1. Support Definitely seeing this as an opportunity to better describe logos visually. Though I don't think we should put a font on the entire body content of the page. Just the bits that have distinguished fonts. Either way, I'm in. Doctorine Dark (talk) 12:06, 3 February 2023 (UTC)

Abstain

Oppose

Oppose why the ████ is everyone liking this idea? if the logo has a bad looking font then that means that the entire page would look really bad. an example would be the aforementioned dreamworks. don't get me wrong- minion is a good looking font. but really only for logos or titles. for small text on say for example a book or a wiki page on the other hand, it really wouldn't look that good. God forbid a logo uses a goofy ahh display font. also, it would really takr a long time for the fonts EVERY page to be done, whch in itself is a whole other can of worms. also it would defeat the entire purpose of the avid sans font to begin withdiberhaze (talk) 13:01, 6 February 2023 (UTC)

edit: just read what doctorine had to say and honestly i'd prefer that the font only appear on "the bits that have the distinguished fonts" as he said. much better than having to enduure a whole page with comic sans. diberhaze (talk) 13:03, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
