Bringing Back The Nickname/Names Section In Logo Description
My Idea Is To Bring Back The Nicknames/Names Sections In The Main Descriptions Of Logos As I Think It Would Be Useful For Further Identifying Logos Quickly And Easily. And That Nicknames Are A Big Part In The Identity Of Many Companies
An Idea In My Proposal Is To Ensure Quality Control In The Nicknames Section, To Prevent Generic Nicknames, Such As Nicknames That Use Version Numbers For Example, From Being Used In The Nicknames Section To Keep Each Nickname Used For A Logo Unique And to Encourage Users To Come Up With Their Own Unique Nicknames For A Logo.

Oppose "to Encourage Users To Come Up With Their Own Unique Nicknames For A Logo" was one of the biggest as to why we got rid of the section, not to mention it encourages subjectivity, which is something we are trying to distance ourselves away from in order to be more reliable and taken more seriously. Additionally, nicknames are technically back but they have to be official names from a specific source. You can find these in the headers of logo sections in some articles. Oppose Per Camenati. If a unique or unofficial nickname is notable if anything, it should be given consensus. Not that it will be in the head though, that will go with Legacy section as that section is one to provide how much impact the logo got in and outside of the community.
